Improve the physician experience, in turn improve the patient experience

There is a great saying in the movie business that certainly applies to healthcare. It goes like this: The problem with film as art is, it is a business, and the problem with film as a business is, it is art.

With the current "business" of healthcare, we have put so much strain on our caregivers that it's as if we are asking them to do the "art" of healing one hand tied behind their back while standing on one foot. We need to stop blaming physicians and start to think of ways to support them.

The following reprinted article from Aeon.com makes me think about how can we possibly improve the patient experience unless we improve the physician and caregivers experience?
